Adult Christian Education
Sundays at 9.15 am meeting in the parish library and Parish Hall.  There are two tracts for Adults of all ages. In the library, we are using our own Bible based curriculum that is run concurrently with the other Christian education classes in the parish.  We read sections from the Holy Scriptures and discuss how to apply God's Word in our daily lives.  In the parish hall, we are offering a Young Adults and Parenting Class.  The class is open to everyone of all ages who have an interest or interaction with children and youth.

Children's Christian Education
Sundays at 9.15 am using "Godly Play" which is very similar to "Catechesis for the Good Sheperd" for pre-school and elementary age children.  This is a montessori based program that encourages a child's natural curiosity and connection with God throuogh Biblical Story, manipulatives, and exploratory work and creativity time. For middle school are using "Faithweaver," a unified and thematic bible study.

Youth @ St Barts
Sundays at 9.15 am  for our Youth @ St. Barts, we seek to dynamically engage the youth with life application from the Bible so that they are prepared for the challenges ahead of them but in an environment that is fun and exciting.

Hear what comfortable words our Saviour Christ saith unto all who truly turn to him.

COME unto me, all ye that travail and are heavy laden, and I will refresh you. St. Matt. xi. 28.

So God loved the world, that he gave his only-begotten Son, to the end that all that believe in him should not perish, but have everlasting life. St. John iii. 16.

Hear also what Saint Paul saith.
This is a true saying, and worthy of all men to be received, That Christ Jesus came into the world to save sinners. 1 Tim. i. 15.

Hear also what Saint John saith.
If any man sin, we have an Advocate with the Father, Jesus Christ the righteous; and he is the Propitiation for our sins. 1 St. John ii. 1, 2.

We at St. Barts are . . .

Christian  Followers of Jesus Christ as our Savior and Lord who seek to fully worship God, to love our neighbor as we love ourselves and to proclaim through the power of the Holy Spirit the Good News that God so loved the world that he gave his only Son so that those who believe in him shall have eternal life.

Anglican  We are part of the Body of Christ: The One Holy Catholic and Apostolic Church established by Jesus ca. 33 AD and draw our Christian roots from the Church in Britain established during the apostolic era.  As such, we subscribe to the Holy Bible as containing all things necessary for salvation, the Historic Creeds of the Catholic (Universal) Church and Anglican formularies and are both Catholic and Reformed.

Episcopal  We are governed by a Bishop and successor to the Holy Apostles and subscribe to three Biblical orders of ministry that come from the people (laity):  Deacons, Priests, and Bishops.  The Rt Rev Mark J. Lawrence, is the XIV Bishop of South Carolina and The Rev Dr Michael E Ridgill, CfSB, SSC is the Rector of St. Bartholomew's Parish.

Not perfect but are forgiven sinners and invite you to join us for Worship, Christian Education, Service and Proclamation of the Gospel.  It has been said that the church is both a hospital for sinners and a gymnasium for making saints.

Where do I start?  Join us for worship, the best way to know what we do, is to experience what we do in community.
