Mission Statement
"To know Jesus Christ as revealed in the Holy Scripture; and by the power of the Holy Spirit to serve Him and further God's Kingdom on earth by making disciples in the name of the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit."

Last year we gave over $5,000 in direct cash gifts alone in addition to other gifts and time in service. This year we seek to do even more. Come join us as we seek to serve Jesus by serving others in His name.
Volunteer Alert
Thanks Volunteers
A big and hearty "Thank You" to our volunteers for helping in the Soup Kitchen on Wednesday, May 7 and for their participation on behalf of St. Bartholomew's Parish in Christmas in April. You are demonstrating, "love in action." Thank you.

Mission and Outreach
Mission & Outreach are an integral part of our common life together at St. Bartholomew's Episcopal Church. Why? Because, God throughout the Old Testament declares a special love and concern for the poor, widows, orphans and travelers (i.e. those who are dependent upon others). Jesus teaches us in the New Testament an even broader definition of love in action. Here is what Jesus says as recorded in the Gospel of St. Matthew, Chapter 25:35-40:
"For I was hungry and you gave me something to eat, I was thirsty and you gave me something to drink, I was a stranger and you invited me in, I needed clothes and you clothed me, I was sick and you looked after me, I was in prison and you came to visit me.' Then the righteous will answer him, 'Lord, when did we see you hungry and feed you, or thirsty and give you something to drink? When did we see you a stranger and invite you in, or needing clothes and clothe you? When did we see you sick or in prison and go to visit you?' The King will reply, 'Truly I tell you, whatever you did for one of the least of these brothers and sisters of mine, you did for me.'"
