A Preschool for children ages 2-3
The staff of St. Bartholomew Learn &Play is dedicated to providing a safe, loving environment for your child to grow, learn, and play. Director Devvy Ridgill has over 17 years of teaching experience in both the public and private school settings which includes working within the Montessori setting. She has worked with children ages 2-10, as well as with children with special needs. Stacy Talbert, assistant, has a small child and has previous experience working with young children. The staff of Learn & Play is proud of our relationship with Coker College and hosts interns tor assist in furthering their education in the teaching and care of young children.
Our goal at St. Bartholomew Learn & Play is to provide a stimulating hands-on approach to learning within a Christian environment that will both nurture and prepare your child for the years to come. Your child's safety and secuirty are important: Staff have had Criminal background checks and are certifiied in sexual abuse prevention.
Hours of Operation
Monday- Friday 9:00 am - 12:00 pm
For ages 2-3 (Future plans are to add 4 year old classroom)
Now with "Early-Bird" drop-off starting at 8:30 am (Please speak with Devvy Ridgill for more information).

Wednesdays & Thursdays 4:00 pm - 4:45 pm
On Wednesdays and Thursdays at 4:00 pm, Devvy Ridgill offers Musikgarten for preschool age children for a forty-five minute session. Wednesdays are for children ages 3 and under and Thursdays are for children ages 3 - 5. Parents are encouraged to attend with their child(ren). Devvy Ridgill is trained and certified by Musikgarten and Musikgarten’s programs are based on meeting the developmental needs of children as they grow. Favorite songs, stories, and dances are revisited throughout – building on what each child has mastered and enjoyed – making successful learning easier.
