Ministries & Outreach
A group of volunteers cooks for the local Soup Kitchen every month. If you are interested in preparing meals, serving or clean-up, contact the office to be added to the list of volunteers.
Volunteers also put together brown bag lunches once a month to help Soup Kitchen users get through a weekend. The church asks congregants to bring in canned goods and other items throughout the year to support this ministry. Contact the office for more information.
The primary function of the Altar Guild is to prepare the altar table and sanctuary area of the church and the chapel for Holy Eucharist with appropriate vessels, linens, candles, wine, and wafers. We change the hangings to reflect the seasons of the church year, saint’s days, baptisms, weddings, and funerals. We are responsible for decorations for Palm (Passion) Sunday, Easter, and Christmas. We also provide flowers or greens when necessary. We are responsible for the maintenance (polishing, repairing and cleaning) and appropriateness of all things in the sanctuary of the church and of the chapel.
We would welcome more men and women. Please prayerfully consider serving in this most meaningful ministry.
The Choir, lead by Jerron Jorgensen, is always looking for new voices to add. If you are interested in singing with the Choir, please contact the office.
